The integration of Pandas’ SDK Grading App and in-store Flex machines provides an upgraded, omnichannel approach to device buybacks. Customers can now initiate their device evaluation remotely using CΟSMOTE & G App native apps, assessing their device’s condition online before visiting a COSMOTE or a GERMANOS store. Once in-store, they can complete their trade-in within minutes using a Pandas Flex machine. The Pandas Engine which powers the whole platform, offers a comprehensive 360° analysis of the phone’s functionality and cosmetics through an intuitive, gamified interface that determines its final trade-in value.

This automated omnichannel trade-in system is designed to significantly reduce inspection times, automate traditionally manual processes, and free up valuable staff hours. Given the price-sensitive nature of the trade-in market, Pandas’ proprietary high-accuracy grading mechanism helps minimize margin loss on each device, allowing COSMOTE & GERMANOS to offer competitive trade-in prices—an essential factor driving trade-in program adoption and success.
