We have some very exciting news to share! Pandas is thrilled to be welcoming Jarrod Hammes as our new VP of Product, joining the senior management team. Prior to his new role at Pandas, Jarrod was directing Corporate Development at ecoATM, another influential player in the trade-in market and leading Product Management at Outerwall. He is well equipped with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the tech industry, in both B2B and B2C contexts. At Pandas, he is a perfect fit to be leading and further expanding the development of our powerhouse of products, with a clear focus on our mission to transform the trade-in market.
As he points out, Jarrod is aiming to bolster our north-star goal:
“to make trade-in common across the world, supporting a true circular economy in an enjoyable and sustainable way”.
Jarrod has extensive experience on how to build products that offer tremendous value to customers and businesses alike in the field. We share the same vision to build a world-class customer experience to enable frictionless, blazing-fast trade-ins. He counts many successes in his 20-year long career, among which his management of the Path 1 Cx 1000 gateway, which was first to “backhaul” the NFL SuperBowl transmission over an IP network, something we consider a given today. For him, meaningful collaboration can be a catalyst for extraordinary results, something he’s eager to foster in his new role at Pandas.
Outside of work, you will find him reading the latest research in Behavioral Economics, and has a love for exercising and gardening.
